Mark Levin and Hugo Chavez: Book Wars

Hugo Chavez presented Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent by Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano to Barack Obama. It was a little gift.

The book trashes America.

Open Veins of Latin America skyrocketed to second place on Amazon as a result of the little Chavez-Obama infomerical.

Chavez has as much clout as Oprah when it comes to boosting book sales.

Wait. Did I miss something? Did Oprah announce Open Veins of Latin America as her latest book club selection? Maybe I'm giving Chavez too much credit.

In any event, Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto remains in the top spot.

That's good.
