Obama Plays Golf

UPDATE: Obama spends the day on the golf course following the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
_______________

Are you having fun, Obama?

ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- President Barack Obama took advantage of the summer conditions in Washington on Sunday to play a round of golf for the first time since taking office.

His motorcade left the White House at midmorning Sunday for the course at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

Obama arrived at the course wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts. He shook hands with a few other golfers and waved to other onlookers before stepping into a golf cart driven by the course's general manager, Mike Thomas.

This is thrilling.

Obama was "wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts."

Isn't it great to have a president that wears "sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts"?

Finally, we have a president that wears "sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts."

I bet he was being super intelligent on the golf course, too. He's so smart. He's a great speaker. I know it's only been 100 Days, but Obama is the greatest president we've had in the history of the Republic.

All is right with the world.

Look at that smile.

What, me worry?

YES, ME WORRY!

We have a health crisis unfolding in this country and Obama is on the golf course!

As a good global citizen, Obama is slacking off.

The swine flu has the makings of a pandemic. Mexico is in a state of panic. And what does the almighty Obama do?

He plays golf.

Not good at all.

If this flu outbreak is like the 1918-1919 Spanish flu pandemic, we are at the beginning of an outbreak that could lead to 100 million deaths worldwide.

This is a great time for Obama to be getting in a round of golf.

This is how Obama chooses to play out the end of his first 100 Days, fiddling and diddling.

Obama takes the weekends off. Seriously. Remember, he has stated that the job is a lot harder and takes a lot more time than he had imagined.

Real golfers never wear shorts, BTW.

Shouldn't he be quarantined? Didn't he just visit Mexico?

On second thought maybe he should be meeting with Reid, Pelosi, Biden....

Yes, the shorts are weird.

Exactly. Most Presidents and golf pros wear classy khakis - long ones, not shorts. He looks like a goofy amateur. And yes Susan, Drudge.com claims that the man who greeted Obama, happened to die the next day, of the flu.

"I remember when de Mello, who was at the UN, got killed in Baghdad as a result of these murderers taking this good man's life, and I was playing golf, I think I was in central Texas, and they pulled me off the golf course and I said, it's just not worth it anymore to do...I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal"It wasn't until August 19, 2003 that George W. decided that he shouldn't play golf while waging war. Of course that didn't stop him from racking up almost 900 days of vacation time at his ranch in Texas. (That's almost 1/3rd of his entire presidency).

It's absolutely ridiculous to suggest that President Bush was "on vacation" for 1/3 of his presidency.

Really.

How many leisure hours has Obama racked up already? What fraction of his 100 Days has been spent partying and playing?

What a jackass. Instead of sealing the border he plays golf. Notice he was in Mexico when the outbreak occurred. A guy he met with died the next day. Maybe he was the carrier of this disease. But on the bright side it is one way to cut back on the unemployment problem - Kill off the unemployed workers.

So, the Obamabots are throwing out Hope and Change and going with "But Dubya did it too"? LOL

Pathetic!
