Danny Gokey: Free Concert, Milwaukee, May 26

UPDATE: Although Danny Gokey will be the center of attention at this event, he will NOT be singing.

_______________

Milwaukee's Riverside Theater will host Gokey show.

Details, from FOX 6:

You can welcome home Milwaukee's American Idol Danny Gokey on Tuesday, May 26th! Before Gokey embarks on a 50-city American Idol tour, he will be the center of attention at a concert event at the Riverside Theater Tuesday, May 26 at 8 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public. The doors to the Riverside will open at 6:30 p.m. and seating is limited (only 2,450 seats).

Members of Danny Gokey's church choir, including friend and American Idol contestant Jamar Rogers will perform. There will be other guest appearances, presentations and surprises too.

Danny will thank Milwaukee for its tremendous outpouring of support, share some of his Idol experiences, his vision for his Sophia's Heart Foundation, and conduct a question and answer session with the audience.

This event will be nosted by FOX6 anchor Nicole Koglin along with Alley Faith from "The Wes, Rahny & Alley Show" on 103.7 KISS FM and Van "The Man" McNeil from 99.1 WMYX.

Again, no tickets are required -- and there will be general admission seating.

The Riverside is such a small venue, with less than 2,500 seats.

I suspect people will be camping out to get in.
