Mark Levin, Obama, and a Military Wife

Yesterday, I heard this exchange between Mark Levin and Heather, a military wife and a veteran herself.

Heather was upset over the things commander in chief Obama said about the Iraq war in his Cairo speech.

It's heartbreaking.

HEATHER: My husband left at 3:00 AM this morning for Iraq, and all I wanted to say was it was pretty hard to see the president, like, condemning his mission. So what exactly is he fighting for? But I just thank you for all the support that you've given the troops, Mark. That's all I wanted to say. (Begins to cry)

MARK LEVIN: Heather, Heather, you hang in there. Let me tell you something. The people of this country so love and adore and support your husband and all of our men and women in the military. Do you know that?

HEATHER: Yes, I do. I just want to thank you. And it was just really hard to see that when I came inside the house this morning, apologizing for Iraq. What is he fighting for? So if he goes out there, does he die in vain? I mean...

LEVIN: Well, don't allow the ignorance and the really outrageous conduct of the president affect you. Really don't, because your husband will be in the hands of wonderful commanders and he's backed by the American people. OK, Heather?

HEATHER: I believe that. I'm a veteran. I believe that. I know that.

LEVIN: Well, it's true. It's true. Call next week. Well, God bless you. Thank you, your family. And give your husband our best, will you?

HEATHER: I will. Thank you, Mark.

LEVIN: All right. Take care.

See, folks, that wasn't a good speech. That speech sucked.

Now, the liberals like it. The media like it. Some of the jerks with microphones like it. But I told you it was a fraud. And he's a fraud, too. He's demoralizing our armed forces, particularly our combat forces.

There's a wife who sees her husband going off to war in Iraq, who just heard her president say it's a 'war of choice' and other stupid stuff. And I have to read, even on some of my favorite websites, 'Well, what do you expect the president to say? He's gotta say that. He's making nice.'

No, he doesn't have to say any of that. He's the commander in chief. It's time for Obama to grow the hell up, become mature, respect his country, and respect the people of this country... because he doesn't. He absolutely does not.

I hope Obama LISTENS to Heather.

Instead of apologizing for the U.S., Obama should apologize to her.

Amen to that. I just want to scream every time he opens his mouth overseas and apologizes for us. Why isn't the Muslim world apologizing to the U.S. for those guys who killed 3000 of our civilians on 9/11?

Amen. Obama makes the Clinton's disdain for the military look minor in comparison.

The Obamas loathe people like Heather. But, they've never stopped to think if not for Heather and her husband the Obama's would never have the chance for their attitudes. If they destroy what has protected their freedom of thought and speech, they will be destroying themselves. But, understanding that concept would take open minded critical thought and the Obamas of which they are not capable. They were brainwashed a long time ago by Reverend Wright et al.

This makes me sick. The comparison between Reagan's D-day address and Obama's pandering and rhetoric is stunning. He has no idea how to lead a nation but that doesn't prevent him from thinking he can lead the world.. It just makes me sick where we are right now. All those lives lost and for what? For our OWN government to take away our hope and freedom... it just makes me sick.

This reminds me of a certain Metallica song. Do you want to know which one and why?

Obummer won't listen to that lady, anymore than he'll listen to a whole country. He just doesn't give a flying flip about our military. It's ALL about him!
