Daniel Gonzalez and Julian Miller

This is good news.

Ruthless thugs Daniel Gonzalez and Julian Miller have been apprehended.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Two men wanted in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old custard stand employee in Kenosha have been captured and remained in custody Thursday, according to police.

The suspects, Daniel Gonzalez, 23, and Julian Miller, 28, both of Kenosha, are being questioned in Sunday's death of Robert W. Wilde, who was killed during a robbery at Shirl's Drive-In. A 43-year-old manager also was shot but survived.

Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident in Kenosha at 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

At 12:30 a.m. Thursday, police caught up with Miller in the area of 39th Ave. and Washington Road, where he attempted to flee from Kenosha police but was captured.

Rob Wilde's parents spoke publicly for the first time yesterday.

Rob's mom gave an impassioned plea for help from the public to get the suspects. Understandably, she wants justice. My heart breaks for her.

I hope the news of the arrests brings her and her family some peace as they struggle with their grief and as they prepare to bury Rob later today.

Here's some information on Daniel Gonzalez and Julian Miller, from Daily Kenoshan:
Both suspects are believed to be gang members. Gonzalez, 23, is a suspected member of the Maniac Latin Disciples with a criminal record in both Wisconsin and Illinois that includes sexual assault. Miller, 28, has an extensive juvenile arrest record and adult convictions involving drugs, identity theft and stealing cars. Miller is alleged to have ties to the Gangster Disciples.

Law enforcement must focus on getting these gang members. Gonzalez and Miller are savages and, obviously, present an extreme danger to society. It's a war.

If Gonzalez and Miller are found guilty, I hope they receive tough sentences and are imprisoned for a long time. I hope the murderer's days as a free man are over.

These thugs need to be kept off the streets. They have shown that they are unwilling to be productive, law-abiding members of society.

Through their own choices, they've forfeited their freedom, if they are in fact found to be guilty in the robbery of Shirl's and the murder of Rob Wilde.

They've caused so much heartache.
