The E Street Band has become the "Legendary E Street Band."
I'm not saying that it's not, just an observation.
Another observation, more of a realization--
The last time Springsteen was in Milwaukee, for an outdoor concert celebrating Harley-Davidson's 105th birthday in August 2008, he was a spry 58-year-old.
When he returns in November 2009, he'll be 60. That's a new frontier.
A few more thoughts--
I wonder if Springsteen will bash Obama for keeping all those Bush policies in place that he's been railing against for the last eight years.
I wonder if Springsteen, supposed voice of blue-collar Americans, will criticize Obama for policies that are guaranteed to put a tremendous burden on small businesses.
I wonder if Springsteen will point out that Obama's Cap and Trade will kill jobs. Will he emphasize that Obama's stimulus only appears to have stimulated unemployment figures?
"Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they ain't coming back to your hometown."
I wonder if Springsteen will slam Obama for policies that have increased taxes on the poor and the middle class, breaking a campaign promise.
And that whole war thing -- what about that?
Americans are dying in Afghanistan, Obama's war, and they're still dying in Iraq. Civilians are being killed.
Any problems there?

Obama's Amerika is what Springsteen was singing about on Darkness and Nebraska. And the theme of "My Hometown" is coming true as I type this. But Bruce will blame it on Bush.
Right. Poor Obama inherited a mess.
It's all Bush's fault.
Did you know that Bush crafted the failed stimulus?
Springsteen was at his best when he was singing about freedom and possibilities.
