Yesterday on The View, Whoopi Goldberg expressed her doubts about whether the moon landing actually occurred.
That's not as offensive as when Rosie O'Donnell would yap about her 9/11 conspiracy theories, but it's still kind of weird.
One of Goldberg's main issues is the way the American flag on the moon ripples.
Some people enjoy conspiracy theories, like Goldberg said she does.
I don't think they're harmless fun. Suggesting that the moon landings didn't really occur shows tremendous disrespect for the astronauts and all those involved in the Apollo Program. It's terrible to disregard what they accomplished.
If one entertains the conspiracy theories, one must consider Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, and the other Apollo astronauts liars.
Is that what Goldberg thinks?

Myth busters did a show on this. Not that any amount of proof can stop an obsession.
