I couldn't believe it.
During his monologue, Conan O'Brien actually made a joke that took a shot at Obama.
It was about Obama's government-run health care plan.
CONAN O'BRIEN: Health care, of course, in the news. President Obama says he will not support the health care plan where the government gets to decide whether, to quote, "pull the plug on grandma." That's what he said.
Apparently, Obama's plan calls for the much quicker "pillow option."
(Acts out putting a pillow over "grandma's" face)
O'Brien went for the laugh for a change, even though he's a big lib.
Maybe he's finally come around to realize that it's time to laugh a bit at Obama.

To me, this entire (no-obama-joke-zone). Is two edged. It speaks on the larger issue where dissent is only tolerated when it is "your side" is demonstraiting.
What happened to "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it?" --Voltaire
Civil discourse has been undervalued. Due to Histrionics Dishonesty and Censorship.
Until we mature enough to enter an arena of issues, this is not going to change. Lets home that society is starting to evolve?
What's bizarre about Obama being untouchable by comedians is that it's something that hasn't occurred before.
Lib comics made jokes about Dem presidents in the past.
Bob Hope spent decades and decades being an equal opportunity comedian.
Obama has to be a punch line sometimes if the material is going to be topical. It really isn't about dissent.
That being said, I do enjoy the lack of "mean spirited" comedy towards our President.
Carson, Rogers and Hope all joked about the highest office but kept it out of the gutter.
