Obama: Biking, No Helmet

Where's your bike helmet, Mr. Obama?

Obama's daughters are wearing helmets. That's good.

Unfortunately, Obama opted to go without one. I guess he's too cool for a helmet.

Considering the Obama administration wants to reach into what seems like every aspect of our lives and control what we do, especially when it comes to our bodies, it seems odd that Obama would exercise his freedom to choose to ride without a helmet. His choice is kind of reckless and certainly not setting a good example for adults.

He's putting his safety at risk.

The lib media like to call Obama the "Father-in-Chief."

Father Obama isn't being a very good role model. He's not making a healthy choice.

There must be something in the 1018 pages of H.R. 3200 that demands people wear bike helmets. It's got to be in there somewhere.

Maybe that rule would be just for those caught in the public "option" and Obama, members of Congress, other government employees, and members of unions would be exempt.

He sets such a bad example in every other area of life, this one hardly matters.

I really don't care if he does or not. I rode bikes for 4 or 5 years (way back when (when Moses was a small lad)), even fell of once or twice. No helmet, no problem.

As some like to say, it should be my choice, not our Great Mother the State's. As far as his kids go, it should be his choice, not theirs.

"Father-in Chief" - now that's just silly.

I'm sure there's something in HR 3200 that says we all have to wear helmets all the time. After all it's for our own good. And it's "for the children".

I don't believe that Obama sets a bad example "in every other area of life," although I do believe he too often sets a bad example.

The point I'm making is that Obama is a proponent of the Nanny State.

As Nanny-in-Chief, he shouldn't be riding a bike without a helmet.

When the president is photographed without a helmet, that's an image that presents conflicting messages.

I'm sure the bike helmet activists aren't happy with him.

If Mr. Cool president doesn't wear a bike helmet, why should others?
