Kevin Jennings: Gay-Only Schools, Racists

At NYU on April 25, 2008, Kevin Jennings, Obama's "Safe Schools Czar," responded to "criticism of the Harvey Milk School in New York, a segregated school for gay, lesbian, and transgender students."

Add this to the pile of controversial things said by Kevin Jennings:

Jennings asserts that some critics of segregated publicly-funded schools are racists.

"To be blunt I think some of the critics don’t like the idea of a lot of black boys being together. It scares them."

MediaGod said...: It IS well known that MANY, especially some of the most organized ultra-conservatives (and I don't like extremes, left or right) are hand in hand with Bigotry, Racism, and much much more.
Gay only schools should be an option, it makes sense. It would also serve to diffuse issues in military. If you can have women there, you can have gays. If not welcome with their other brothers and sisters, let them serve their country among their own. And, when they bleed red to keep our flag with stripes, it will be the same color as those who like the opposite sex when they seek a relationship or are sexually active, otherwise it's not an issue.
Further, with the FACT that gay kids are and teens and young adults, it's REAL, I lived it myself and there is abuse going on against them. Why did Matt Shepard need destroyed and left wrapped up in a fence to die because he went to different places.
Fear breeds hate and man should know this about themselves, ourselves. Even Yoda knows this elementary philosophy. Who is good at hate in our country's history and who do they target?
Why did the constitution need ammended to give women, blacks,etc., if the statement "all created equal...right to pursue...freedom, liberty, etc.".
We have spent plenty of time making sure our sons go straight by pointing out good looking women, or pointing girls out the boys age, commercials, movies, everywhere you look. They have no choice but to be straight even if that is not what they really feel.

Much more to say. I'm not radical, just very libertarian. If I want to commit suicide, drink, smoke weed in my own home and love whom I want. The gov't and my neighbors to love one another and get out of our homes which most Republicans would agree when it comes to money and affairs during marriage or their own secret homosexuality.

Trying to stay on point, hope I didn't digress is misconstrue. If I did I apologize and just take my comment at face value.
