From Breitbart, here's audio of Kevin Jennings, Obama's "Safe School Czar," speaking at a GLESN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) event in Iowa, 2000:
KEVIN JENNINGS: This should be our curriculum, our curriculum at kindergarten, at first grade, at second grade, every grade until students have graduated from school should be you must respect every human being regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of gender identity, regardless of race, or religion, or any of the many arbitrary distinctions we make about people.
If we cannot teach this very basic lesson in our schools, we will be very surprised how hard it is for so many students to learn to learn French or English or Math.
It's hard to focus on going back to the basics. We're going to hear a lot about that this election year, 'Let's go back to the basics.'
Well, you know what? We can't focus on reading, writing, and arimethic. We instead need to be focusing on survival.
I believe in teaching respect in the schools. Bullying is a serious problem.
Jennings is documented as being an outspoken and radical advocate for gay students, but other students have trouble surviving as well.
Being overweight can make a student a target. Jennings should stress respect for kids of all weights.
Furthermore, many public schools have failed miserably in teaching respect for Christians.
Students holding conservative political views are ridiculed by teachers. That's a hostile learning environment and very alienating for kids.
Is Jennings promoting respect for them?

Ever since John Dewey reformed the public school system with his progressive philosophy, school has been less about education and more about social experimentation.
Goodbye phonics! Hello sex education!
Jennings shows such disdain for the "basics."
It's as if he believes reading, writing, and arithmetic are secondary to pushing a liberal social agenda.
