Barney Frank, the Boyfriend, and the Pot Bust

This is priceless.

Alison Bologna of FOX 25 in Boston questioned Barney Frank about his boyfriend, James Ready, and the pot bust.

FOX 25 REPORTER ALISON BOLOGNA: You know, you're pushing a bill to legalize medical marijuana, so you really didn't recognize it when you saw it?

BARNEY FRANK: I'm offended by the question because you're suggesting that you don't believe me. I don't think there's any basis for that.

BOLOGNA: I'm just asking you to clarify.

FRANK: No, but you're asking me in a tone of voice that suggests you don't believe me. There's no basis for that. [Inaudible] I am not a great outdoorsman. I am not, I do not smoke marijuana myself. I have never smoked marijuana. I don't know what the plants look like. Uh, I couldn't identify most plants.

It's hilarious that Frank related his alleged inability to recognize marijuana plants with not being a "great outdoorsman."

Yes, when I think of the skills of a "great outdoorsman," spotting pot plants comes to mind immediately.

I don't believe Frank is so plant-challenged that he can't identify pot. However, I do believe his assertion that he's not a great outdoorsman.
