Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Lil' Wayne - Blackface Controversy

Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Whitney Isleib dressed as rapper Lil' Wayne for Halloween.

ARLINGTON (CBS 11/TXA 21) -- A Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader has brought some controversy to herself following the discovery of some Halloween photos on her Facebook page that some say are inappropriate.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are the sweethearts of America's Team, yet the actions of one of the cheerleaders off the field have drawn scrutiny and criticism.

Second-year cheerleader Whitney Isleib reportedly attended a friend's Halloween party dressed as rapper Lil' Wayne, who is black.

Pictures of Isleib, who is white, were posted on her Facebook page. The photos were leaked to a sports blog, and that's where the controversy started.

Fans we spoke with at Sunday's Cowboys game against the Seahawks were mixed in their reactions.

...One thing most everyone agreed on was anyone representing 'America's Team' should exercise better judgment.

...No one from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders or the team would officially comment, but a team spokesman told us the team is aware of the situation and addressing it internally.

I wonder what Roger Goodell thinks about this. What does the head of the NFL Players Association, DeMaurice Smith, think about this?

Is appearing in blackface an appropriate choice for someone representing the NFL?

Where's the condemnation from NFL heads and owners?

They rushed to call Rush Limbaugh a racist and attributed statements to him that he never made.

They bullied him out of a group interested in buying the Rams.

Are they going to bully Whitney Isleib out of her Dallas cheerleader outfit?
