Leno: Favre, First Forward Pass Joke

JAY LENO: And some sports trivia. See, we have something for everyone in the monologue -- sports, there's information...exactly, exactly. It was this week in 1913 that the forward pass was first used in a football game. Do you know that? It was a play that would change the game of football forever, and yet 98 years later, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still can't pull it off. It's amazing. Still, all these years.

Actually, interesting, do you know who threw that first forward pass in 1913? Brett Favre. I was surprised. Surprising, and it was intercepted. I was amazed.
