Paul Ryan: Obama B+

Wisconsin's Paul Ryan begs to differ on Obama's assessment that he deserves a solid B+ grade for his presidency so far.

In an appearance on CNBC, Ryan not only said that Obama deserves a lower grade, but he said that Obama wouldn't win if the election were held today.

QUESTION: The president gives himself a B+. You'd give him a...

PAUL RYAN: Well, I'm not a big grader, but it would be below a C. I'll tell you that.

...We didn't know what he was going to be like. I was hoping he was going to be a centrist.

QUESTION: Do you think he'd be elected today if they held the election...?

RYAN: No, I don't; but I was hoping he'd be a centrist. None of us knew him, because he was sort of new. And unfortunately, what we find is a very, very Left of center government here.

Ryan is correct on all counts.

Obama talked the centrist talk, but he's not walking the centrist walk at all. He duped the American people. They believed his campaign rhetoric. They didn't count on all the broken promises.

If the election were held today, Obama wouldn't win. According to Rasmussen, Obama has a 44 percent job approval rating.

That's not a B+ performance.

Hope and change. Yeah, right.
