Obama Jokes - Jimmy Fallon, January 8

JIMMY FALLON: While speaking about the War on Terror yesterday, President Obama said, 'There is of course no foolproof solution. We have to stay one set ahead of a nimble adversary.' A nimble adversary-- Sounds like somebody saw Sherlock Holmes over the holiday.

President Obama also said, 'We are at war against al Qaeda, and we will do whatever it takes to defeat them.' Then Obama was like, 'Literally, whatever it takes: speeches, talks, speech talks, talks about speeches, speaking about the talk I just spoke about, personal appearances.'

In Obama's defense, he's taken responsibility for the security lapse on Christmas. Obama said, 'Ultimately the buck stops with me.' Then, he was like, 'Unless it's a billion bucks, in which case it just goes to AIG.'

Did you guys hear about this? President Obama met with former President Bill Clinton at the White House yesterday in a meeting closed to the press. It was pretty awkward. Hillary called and at the exact same time they both said, 'I'm not here!'

You guys excited about the final season of Lost? I love that show. I am so excited about that. Well, fans are worried that the show's 3-hour season premiere on February 2nd could be bumped if President Obama gives his State of the Union speech that night, which is ironic because 'Lost' is also the name of the speech he plans on giving.
