State of the Union: January 27

Obama will be giving his State of the Union address on January 27.

From the Washington Post:

President Barack Obama will deliver his first State of the Union address on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Obama will address a joint session of Congress, beginning at 9 p.m. EST.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday the speech would be broadcast live on national television and streamed on the White House Web site. It will be Obama's first State of the Union address.

Obama will be bumping American Idol, unless FOX decides to drop Human Target and air Idol in its timeslot.

I'm guessing The Jay Leno Show will be bumped, too.
