Michelle Obama: Health Care and Sacrifice

During the 2008 campaign, Michelle Obama preached that all Americans are going to have to make sacrifices to have what she and her comrades want -- a government-run health care system.

Her words are stunning.

She says we have to change our mindset. We have to sacrifice "our own individual selves."

So much for the Land of the Free.

MICHELLE OBAMA: It's gonna cost us something as a society to say we can't tolerate having millions of people uninsured. We can't tolerate it. But in order for all of us to get a little bit more, a whole bunch of us are going to have to give up a little something that we have. And that's not sort of what we've been taught.

...All right, so if you have a leader like Barack, who is saying 'Yes, we know how much this is gonna cost. It's gonna cost us billions, but we can do it,' what are willing to sacrifice to make sure that we have the resources to do it?

...Um, but that's, that's the mindset that has to change. Uh, what does it mean to live in a society? What does it mean to be an American? Um, and what kind of sacrifice do we all have to make?

...What Barack says: 'We all have the work to do.' You know, it is not just about changing the person in the White House, but it's about changing our mindset about what we're willing to sacrifice, even our own individual selves, you know.

Michelle makes it very clear.

She and Barack and their radical cohorts want to change what it means to be an American.

Give up your freedom and bow to the state. Put your life in the hands of the government.

In short, you don't control your destiny in Obamaland. The government controls you. Bow down. Bend over.
