Paul Ryan: Mark Levin

After a guest spot on Rush Limbaugh's show earlier today, Paul Ryan was on Mark Levin's show.

He was on immediately, as soon as Levin's show began, the first hour.

Ryan said he has the CBO working on a letter to verify and clarify the facts, to point out that Medicare money is not going to Medicare and cannot be counted twice. Ryan wants it clarified that the Democrats are shamelessly playing games with costs.

In short, "the bill" -- the reconciliation bill plus the Senate bill -- is a mess. Hundreds of billions of dollars are not being counted.

They're taking money OUT of Medicare and Social Security.

The Dems are manipulating the numbers to make it appear that the health care bill would come under $1 trillion. It's utter fraud.

Ryan said, "As ugly as this process is, this bill is so much uglier."

Ryan said the issue here is not really health care. It's really about ideology.

This is about whether the Dems can make their dreams come true and take a giant leap to create a cradle to grave welfare state.

Levin said the American people are at a boiling point. I think he's absolutely right. We reject what the Democrats are doing. As Levin explained, that's why it's necessary for the Dems to find unconstitutional ways to get it done.

It boggles my mind that the Dems can be so out of touch and willing to ignore what we are telling them. They truly seem to have gone mad.

Do they think we're going to stand for this?

We're not.

After Ryan left to appear on Charlie Rose's show, Levin praised Paul Ryan.

Levin said, "There's a rising star... No, there's a star of the Republican Party."
