Simon Cowell: Middle Finger, 4-21-10

Simon Cowell's use of his middle finger is a problem.

For years on American Idol, there have been instances when Cowell's gestures have created a stir.

Is he purposely flipping the bird?

Last night on the program, during one of the results segments, Ryan Seacrest was talking with Crystal Bowersox and Casey James.

The camera lingered on Simon while Ryan spoke.

Accidental?

Innocent?

Meaningless?

Whatever, Simon does need to work on that mannerism. His hand gestures are abysmal.
