From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Milwaukee Pug Fest coordinator Rick Kopaczewski says he expects more than 1,200 pugs for Milwaukee Pug Fest....
The sixth-annual event will benefit pug rescue groups across the U.S. and help pay for medical and dental bills for rescued pugs.
...Visitors are allowed to bring their own pugs, Boston terriers and French bulldogs. Kopaczewski says he expects at least 2,500 people.
Over 1,200 pugs!
Wow!
Check out this Pug Fest sponsor: Pug Wine.
Pug Wine specializes in small production, single vineyard pinot noir, cabernet and white wine from Northern California's premier grape growing regions. Pug Wine combines and celebrates our love of this part of the world and the pug breed. You can't look at a pug or drink wine from the California wine country without having your spirits lifted.
2007 and 2008 Releases Available Now
Our 2007 Pug Pinot, Pug Cab, and Pug Blanc are available now. Vintage 2008 Pug Punk was also just released.
Why Pug Wine?
Because pugs, like wine, are one of life's great pleasures.
Because both the breed and the wines exhibit purebred character unmistakable for any other. Both flourish from hands on attention and can transform any event into a celebration.
Pug Fest is sure to be a celebration.
