On Tuesday, Shirley Sherrod was exposed as a racist. The White House forced her to resign and the NAACP condemned her.
On Wednesday, Shirley Sherrod became a victim. Tom Vilsack apologized. The White House apologized. The NAACP claimed it was snookered by FOX News, even though the tape belongs to the NAACP. How can the group claim to be snookered by their own tape. Sherrod's not a racist.
Is another reversal in order?
Watch the tape in its entirety.
Sherrod does make derogatory, racially-charged statements when she talks about the GOP and the Bush administration.
Should this woman be a federal employee? Is there legitimate concern that her views about whites may affect her ability to perform her job?
It's important not to be taken in by the White House spin and the liberal "JournoList" media.
Listen to what Sherrod says, all of it.
Does she sound color blind to you?

Here's an interesting portion:
There is no difference between us. The only difference is that the folks with money want to stay in power and whether it's health care or whatever it is, they'll do what they need to do to keep that power, you know. It's always about money, y'all.
You know, I haven't seen such a mean-spirited people as I've seen lately over this issue of health care. Some of the racism we thought was buried. Didn't it surface? Now, we endured eight years of the Bush's and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black President.
I wanted to give you that little history -- especially the young people -- I want you to know they created it, you know, not just for us. But we got the brunt of it 'cause they needed to elevate what is just a little higher than us to make them think that we're so much better, and then we -- they would never work with us, you know, to try to change the situation that they were all in.
But where am I going with this? You know, I couldn't say 45 years ago -- I couldn't stand here and say what I'm saying -- what I will say to you tonight. Like I told you, God helped me to see that it's not just about black people -- it's about poor people. And I've come a long way. I knew that I couldn't live with hate, you know.
Sherrod says she couldn't live with her hatred for white people. She claims to have changed over the years. She's supposedly enlightened now. She's beyond race.
If she truly believes that then why does Sherrod paint President Bush and his administration as eight years of resurfaced racism?
Sherrod accuses Republicans during the Bush administration of behaving in a racist fashion. She's making sweeping generalizations and tossing around accusations based on race.
She condemns those in opposition to Obama's government-run health care as mean-spirited. She declares that this policy disagreement is actually rooted in anger over having a black president.
The video, the audio, the transcript-- They're available for all to review, unedited.
Sherrod isn't the post-racial figure she's been making herself out to be. She's talking out of both sides of her mouth.
