SUMMERFEST: John Hiatt

July 3rd is always a huge day at Summerfest.

It's a madhouse with the throngs descending on the lakefront to view Milwaukee's 4th of July fireworks display.

The fireworks begin at dusk, about 9:25 PM.

This year, the 3rd is also a Saturday, meaning potentially bigger crowds earlier in the day.

Scheduled to take the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage at 10:00 PM is Summerfest favorite John Hiatt. He always delivers a great show.
