Less than 3 weeks after the 9/11 attacks, Feisal Abdul Rauf, the allegedly moderate imam behind the Ground Zero mosque, blamed the U.S. for the bloodshed.
In this clip from 60 Minutes, talking with Ed Bradley, the allegedly moderate Rauf is very clear on what he believes.

ED BRADLEY: Are you in any way suggesting that we in the United States deserved what happened?
FEISAL ABDUL RAUF: I wouldn't say that the United States deserved what happened; but the United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.
BRADLEY: You say that we're an accessory?
RAUF: Yes.
BRADLEY: How?
RAUF: Because we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the U.S.A.
Rauf is echoing Reverend Jeremiah Wright and his "chickens coming home to roost" stuff.
Like Obama, Rauf is a "Blame America First" type.

Can you guess who said this?
"When people said they hate us, well, did we deserve 9-11? No. But were we minding our business? No. Were we in bed with dictators and abandoned our values and principles? Yes. That causes problems."
Pretty similar. Answer.
Mr. Media Matters strikes again!
What's your point about that quote? It's similar. Who cares?
Do you think I'm a Glenn Beck fan? I don't watch his show. I don't listen to him on radio. Notice he's on my Wall of Shame.
"Do you think I'm a Glenn Beck fan?"
I did! I stand corrected. Sorry for the assumption. I should know better.
Like Obama, Rauf is a "Blame America First" type.
Yes, Rauf is a expressing similar sentiments to that of pacifist, multiculturalist liberals. Not evidence that Rauf is a terrorist-supporting Islamic radical.
You're right, WS.
Rauf's "Blame America First" remarks cited here don't prove that he supports terrorist groups, like Hamas.
Other sources, such as his WABC interview with Aaron Klein, shed light on that matter.
