Lawrence O'Donnell brings liberal voice to MSNBC

Oh, finally!

I was wondering when MSNBC would get around to bringing in a liberal voice to balance the slant of its other voices.

Good grief.

The liberal O'Donnell's new show on MSNBC, The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell, begins on September 27, and will compete with On the Record With Greta Van Susteren, FOX News Channel.

The show will bomb, but I admit that O'Donnell is so crazed that his meltdowns are interesting to watch. Sometimes the guy goes completely nuts. He's the epitome of the foaming at the mouth liberal. He's a train wreck.

O'Donnell's "Creepy Liar" meltdown on MSNBC's Scarborough Country on October 22, 2004, still stands as one of the most bizarre moments on cable TV.

In December 2007, O'Donnell had another notable televised rant. He slammed Mitt Romney and Mormonism. Did you know that O'Donnell has zero tolerance for Mormons?

So MSNBC welcomes O'Donnell. He's a perfect fit.
