Conan O'Brien: TBS Promo (Video)

See Conan wash his desk!

Funny?

Sort of, but not really. It's too long and too lame.

I think O'Brien has some ego issues.

The beard has to go. Protest beards aren't attractive.

I was a loyal viewer and fan of his Late Night show. The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien never really clicked. The studio was too large. It seemed to swallow up O'Brien and sap his creativity. Big stunts replaced good writing.

Although Max Weinberg is jumping ship, I hope O'Brien manages to recapture the spirit of his original NBC show. He seemed so comfortable there, a perfect fit.

For O'Brien's TBS show to work, he has to keep the bitterness out.

An angry, whiny, egomaniacal late night host is annoying and impossible to watch.

Example: David Letterman.

Years and years ago, Letterman was funny. That's ancient history.

Hopefully, O'Brien won't follow in Letterman's footsteps. He's not a good role model.
