VIDEO – Part One: George W. Bush and Bono Sit Down With Bret Baier

U2’s Bono and George W. Bush are continuing the global fight and ongoing efforts to raise awareness of AIDS. Here is part one of the interview:

VIDEO – Part Two: George W. Bush and Bono Sit Down With Bret Baier

Obama has dropped the ball when it comes to AIDS, and he repeatedly lies about his inaction.

So far, Obama's legacy regarding AIDS is abysmal.

I hope those activists continue their protests against Obama and hold him accountable.

Harvey, you crack me up. Why on earth would the post cause persons endorsing liberal causes to be upset or concerned? Makes zero sense. Your use of the word "liberal" attempting to insult or imply something negative reminds me of TV's West Wing - during a Presidential debate in the show's 7th season with the Republican nominee, Senator Arnold Vinick and the Democratic party's nominee, Congressman Matt Santos.
Santos: "It's true. Republicans have tried to turn liberal into a bad word. Well, liberals ended slavery in this country."
Vinick: "A Republican President ended slavery."
Santos: "Yes, a liberal Republican, Senator. What happened to them? They got run out of your party. What did liberals do that was so offensive to the liberal party? I'll tell you what they did. Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act. What did conservatives do? They opposed them on every one of those things every one. So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal,' as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work, Senator. Because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor." ttp://westwing.bewarne.com/seventh/707live.html

There's plenty of places the government's bureaucracy could be cut so it could more effectively help the world in places where help was really needed.

There is plenty of unnecessary foreign aid that is just sucked into a black hole.

But nobody wants to do the heavy lifting and eliminate all of the waste so all that happens is petty political arguments, such as "I thought the conservatives wanted a smaller government."

Yep, sure did.
