MAD as Hell: Butt Out of Wisconsin, Obama

Someone needs to explain to Obama that we held an election in Wisconsin on November 2, 2010.

The people elected Scott Walker to govern our state, to be our chief executive.

We elected Republican legislators to control the state assembly and the state senate.

Obama, his union thugs, and Democrats are ignoring that reality. They are obstructing the will of the people.

Scott Walker was elected to address Wisconsin's budget woes without raising taxes. He is keeping his promise to Wisconsinites.

From the Washington Post:

President Obama thrust himself and his political operation this week into Wisconsin's broiling budget battle, mobilizing opposition Thursday to a Republican bill that would curb public-worker benefits and planning similar protests in other state capitals.

Obama accused Scott Walker, the state's new Republican governor, of unleashing an "assault" on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would change future collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers.

The president's political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to get thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals.

Their efforts began to spread, as thousands of labor supporters turned out for a hearing in Columbus, Ohio, to protest a measure from Gov. John Kasich (R) that would cut collective-bargaining rights.

By the end of the day, Democratic Party officials were organizing additional demonstrations in Ohio and Indiana, where an effort is underway to trim benefits for public workers. Some union activists predicted similar protests in Missouri, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In other words, Obama is actively encouraging the shut down of Wisconsin schools. He's encouraging the illegal walkout of Wisconsin teachers. He's encouraging union thugs to intimidate lawmakers and taxpayers, and shut down business in our state government. He's encouraging Democrats in the WI Senate to flee the state and dismiss the will of the people.

Obama, butt out of Wisconsin!

"Organizing for America" - What a disgrace!

The president of the United States should not be working to overturn the results of the November elections.

We don't need your thuggery, Obama.

Note to the Washington Post: Obama has been working closely with Wisconsin union officials prior to Thursday.

On Monday, February 14, 2011, this e-mail message from Obama's political machine was sent:

Friend --

We always knew Scott Walker would pursue a right-wing, anti-worker agenda. We didn't know it would be this extreme.

At a time when most folks are still struggling to get back on their feet, Gov. Walker has asked the state legislature to strip public employees of their collective bargaining rights. Under his plan, park rangers, teachers, and prison guards would no longer be able to fight back if the new Republican majority tries to slash their health benefits or pensions.

But that's not even the most shocking part: The governor has also put the state National Guard on alert in case of "labor unrest."

We can't -- and won't -- let Scott Walker's heavy-handed tactics scare us. This Tuesday and Wednesday, February 15th and 16th, volunteers will be attending rallies at the state capitol, put together by our organized labor allies. The vote could come as early as Wednesday, and we need to speak out now to show lawmakers in Madison that we're not only paying attention; we're fired up and ready to act.

Can you make it on Tuesday or Wednesday? Here are the details:

What: Emergency rally for state workers

Where: Madison Masonic Temple
301 Wisconsin Avenue
Madison, WI 53703

When: Tuesday and Wednesday, February 15th and 16th
Legislative briefing at 10:00 a.m.
State capitol rally at 12:00 p.m.

Obama was working closely with thugs in Wisconsin much earlier than Thursday.

Moreover, what a coincidence that Charles Benson, reporter for NBC affiliate TMJ4, just happened to get an interview with Obama!

The interview aired on Wednesday.

The Post is WRONG when it reports that Obama made these comments while talking to a local reporter on Thursday.

"Some of what I've heard coming out of Wisconsin, where they're just making it harder for public employees to collectively bargain generally, seems like more of an assault on unions," Obama told a Milwaukee television reporter on Thursday, taking the unusual step of inviting a local TV station into the White House for a sit-down interview. "I think everybody's got to make some adjustments, but I think it's also important to recognize that public employees make enormous contributions to our states and our citizens."

Obama said that stuff on WEDNESDAY.

Correct that, WaPo.

Seemingly out of nowhere, there was Charles Benson, live from Washington, on TMJ4's 10:00 PM Wednesday newscast, introducing his interview with Obama.

In retrospect, it's clear that this was all orchestrated.

TMJ4 is a reliable "willing partner," tool of the Democrat-Union agenda. Really disgusting.

Bottom line: Obama is undercutting duly elected officials in Wisconsin and the will of the people.

BUTT OUT, OBAMA!

Now tell me the left-wing Democrats don't want to destroy our country.

Good news is that this ensures a new President in 2012 as long as there are elections.

"We have received emails from tea party organizers in Wisconsin thanking us for our show of support for this effort by sending out an email about the rally. Tea Party Patriots will always be there to support local tea party organizers and some of our National Coordinators will be there with you tomorrow."
