Glenn Grothman and Brett Hulsey (Video)

UPDATE, March 1, 2011: Lena Taylor condones the mob's attack, blames the victim.
________________

Wisconsin Democrat Rep. Brett Hulsey, the guy who hijacked the podium after Scott Walker's press conference and said the governor was "acting like a dictator, not a leader," came to the aid of Republican Rep. Glenn Grothman when he was being threatened verbally and physically by protesters as he tried to make his way into the Capitol.

What a bunch of goons!

Screaming "SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!" and "YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!" at Grothman, and physically preventing him from getting into the building is not peaceful protesting.

I give Democrat Hulsey credit for attempting to quiet the Leftist thugs and help Republican Grothman.

It's the least Hulsey could do given his own recent behavior and vitriolic rhetoric.

In addition to calling Gov. Walker a dictator, Hulsey chanted "SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!" at the top of his lungs at his Republican colleagues shortly after 1:00 AM last Friday when the Assembly passed the budget repair bill.

Here's video of the thug protesters attacking Grothman:

This is truly disgraceful.

I think it's time for the Democrats to address the thugs and their violent protesting.

Perhaps Hulsey and his colleagues should quit wearing those orange t-shirts. Perhaps they should conduct themselves with some decorum and show respect for the process and representative government.

I think the onus is on the Democrats to set a tone of civility. At present, they're encouraging lawlessness. The 14 AWOL Dems need to return to Madison and do their jobs rather than remaining in Illinois, stubbornly thwarting the will of the people.

I hope Hulsey reflects on what happened today and thinks about the impact of his behavior.
