Last week, union bosses threatened to attack Marshall & Ilsley for being "listed among [Scott Walker's] largest contributors."
The list of thuggish bosses making the threat:
James L. Palmer, Executive Director
Wisconsin Professional Police Association
Mahlon Mitchell,President
Professional Fire Fighters
Jim Conway, President
International Association of Fire Fighters Local 311
John Matthews, Executive Director
Madison Teachers, Inc.
Keith Patt, Executive Director
Green Bay Education Association
Bob Richardson, President
Dane County Deputy Sheriffs Association
Dan Frei, President
Madison Professional Police Officers Association
Thugs made good on their threat Saturday night.
The M&I branch in Greendale was vandalized with anti-Scott Walker and pro-union graffiti.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Police said Monday they are investigating an incident Saturday night in which a citizen saw someone spray-painting anti-Gov. Scott Walker graffiti on the side of an M&I bank branch at Southridge.
Interim Police Chief Bob Malasuk said Monday the bystander spotted the vandal just after 10 p.m. spray-painting the building. No suspect has yet been apprehended.
Malasuk said words such as "Traitor" and "Unions are Forever," as well as profanity directed at Walker were spray-painted on the wall.
The damage has been cleaned up.
Last week, the Wisconsin Professional Police Association, the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin, the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 311, Madison Teachers Inc., Green Bay Education Association, Dane County Deputy Sheriffs Association and the Madison Professional Police Officers Association announced a boycott against businesses for either supporting Walker directly, or its executives supporting Walker's campaign, or because the companies are members of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, a pro-business group that supported the governor, or all three.
M&I Bank was the first company named as part of the boycott.
The bank has said that it has not taken, or will not take, a position either for or against the governor's budget-repair bill.
Here's a photo of some of the damage, from FOX 6.
Remember, the protests are peaceful. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Destructive, violent, criminal tactics aren't part of the unions' reaction to Governor Walker's budget repair bill.
M&I wasn't the only business targeted by the thugs.
Sendik's in Shorewood was also hit by vandals. UWM was hit as well.
From 620 WTMJ:
TODAY'S TMJ4's Diane Pathieu confirmed that doors at Chapman, Curtin, Mellencamp, Mitchell and Sabin Halls all had doors with superglue in the locks on Monday.
She said those doors were opened before 7:30 a.m. Monday morning. No classes were affected.
Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jodi Becker confirmed that the doors to the Sendik's on Downer Avenue were also glued shut.
UWM campus police believed it was a sign of protest, but organizers of a campus rally later Monday afternoon say they didn't have anything to do with it.
College students are angry over what the bill may mean for them, and they are making their thoughts known in protests.
This is thuggery. Property damage is not "peaceful protest."
We're seeing the extremes the pro-union minions are willing to go to intimidate.
"F--- you Scott Walker" spray-painted on the brick wall of an M&I branch is not peaceful.
Do they really think this is the way to win over hearts and minds?
