So often there's a Wisconsin connection in national stories.
Whether it's the European E. coli outbreak or the Anthony Weiner scandal, a Wisconsin person is involved.
Lisa Weiss, 40, grew up in Wisconsin and attended Nicolet High School and UWM.
On Facebook, she describes herself as "super liberal!" She's a Rachel Maddow fan, and considers Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher her teachers. She says she learned all she knows from them.

40-year-old Lisa Weiss grew up in Wisconsin. On facebook, she says she went to Nicolet High School in Glendale and UW-Milwaukee. Weiss is the first woman to go public with an assertion that she is one of the New York Democrat's online mistresses. She also claims Congressman Anthony Weiner was not telling the truth when he said, "I don't believe that I ever used any government resources." Weiss told Radar Online that Weiner used a congressional phone to call her. "He called me from his office and we proceeded to talk dirty for at least 30 minutes," she told the online tabloid. "A few days later, I tried to call him back on that number, but the number wouldn't connect to his office; instead there was a recorded message that it was an outgoing U.S. Congress line only." "What we've also been able to establish is that Representative Weiner have five of his 15 sexual discussions with Lisa Weiss were during times when was in Washington, DC," Radar Online Senior Executive Editor Dylan Howard said.
...Weiss now lives in the Las Vegas area where she works as a casino blackjack dealer. At her home, there is a sign posted on the front door saying 'no interviews, no reporters, no trespassing.'

Apparently, Weiss cares more about her own celebrity than advancing a liberal agenda. She appears to want her moment in the spotlight and doesn't care about doing damage to Weiner and the Democrats.

I doubt that Nicolet is proud to claim Weiss as a former student.
We've had the summer of shark attacks. There's always some obsession. This appears to be shaping up as the summer of Weiner.
Even with DEMOCRAT Weiner's tearful admission, that didn't end the story. It continues to snowball, thanks to the women like Weiss coming forward with salacious accounts.
DEMOCRAT Weiner should resign.
And Lisa Weiss should get some good advice on how to succeed without debasing herself.

I honestly don't recall. Did you also call on all the (R) lotharios to resign as well? Or is there something unique about the Wiener situation, besides not having sex with anyone other than his wife as far as we know, that makes it more egregious. Can't be the lying, because they all did that too until it was no longer possible.
There are aspects to this scandal that go beyond being just another affair by a politician being exposed.
Weiner claimed a crime had been committed and then refused to report it to law enforcement. He lied profusely.
I can't say with certitude that I've commented on "all" the lotharios, Republican or Dem.
I know I did call on Larry Craig to resign.
It sounds like you think Weiner's behavior wasn't really that bad, because, as far as we know, he didn't have physical sexual contact with his 6 paramours.
No, I'm really disappointed in him. He was one of my favorites. No more. More so for the lying than the creepy cyber-sex stuff, which is really a matter for him and his wife to "discuss." The implication of the lying is for the voters to decide if he doesn't step down.
