Jimmy Hoffa, Tea Party, and War

At a Labor Day rally in Detroit, Teamsters president Jimmy Hoffa revealed what a thug he is.

Employing crass and heated rhetoric, Hoffa declared war on the Tea Party and pledged his allegiance to Obama as he introduced the president.

When Obama took the stage at the rally, did he condemn Hoffa's divisive language?

Of course not.

How can Americans respect Obama when he condones such inappropriate statements?

We can't.

Here's video of Hoffa:

JIMMY HOFFA: We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face - a war on workers. And you see it everywhere. It is the Tea Party. And you know, there's only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They got a war, they got a war with us, and there's only gonna be one winner. It's gonna be the workers of Michigan and America. We're gonna win that war.

...

President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. And President Obama, we want one thing: jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs. That's what we're going to tell him. He's gonna be... and when he sees what we're doing here, he will be inspired. But he needs help. And you know what? Everybody here's gotta vote. If we go back and we keep the eye on the prize, let's take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong. Thank you very much.

This guy is creepy. He's a thug. (And he doesn't know the plural of "son of a bitch.")

How disgusting that Obama considers Hoffa someone to be admired!

When Obama addressed the labor rally in Detroit, he didn't make any effort to unify Americans. He didn't act as the nation's president. He was a community organizer engaging in class warfare, dividing the country.

Rather than condemning Hoffa's awful remarks, Obama gave his stamp of approval.

Here's video.

Transcript, from the White House:
OBAMA: We’re thrilled to be joined by so many other friends. I want to acknowledge, first of all, two of the finest senators in the country -- Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow are in the house. (Applause.) Outstanding members of the congressional delegation -- John Dingell Bingham*, John Conyers, Sandy Levin, Gary Peters, and Hansen Clarke. (Applause.)

The president of the Metropolitan Detroit Central Labor Council, our host, Saundra Williams. (Applause.) AFL-CIO president, Rich Trumka. (Applause.) President of the Michigan AFL-CIO, Mark Gaffney. (Applause.) And some proud sons and daughters of Michigan representing working people here and across the country -- SEIU President Mary Kay Henry, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, UAW President Bob King, Utility Workers President Mike Langford. (Applause.) We are proud of them and we're proud of your congressional delegation who are working every single day with your state and local elected officials to create jobs and economic growth and prosperity here in Michigan and all across the country.

Good grief.

Obama is actually proud of Jimmy "let's take these son of a bitches out" Hoffa.

What is Obama's problem? Why would he alienate half the country on this holiday, just to score political points with his supporters? Obama acted like a community organizer, not the nation's president.

Obama is a terrible leader.

Bottom line: Obama is bad for the country, one nation under God.

It's as simple as that.

While interviewing Jimmy Hoffa yesterday, CNN's John King didn't question Hoffa about his foaming at the mouth rant against conservatives.

Inexcusable.

There has been no doubt that it is going to get not good especially next summer. Incidents like Hoffa and Biden this week only validate.

It is pretty sad when most of the country's citizens are the enemy of the party in power.

And fighting for the unions is stupid. Only a very small percentage of workers in the USA are unionized and if they keep this BS up, and they will, more of the few union jobs left will be moved offshore.

Union members don't seem to get that they're slaves. They're worse than sheep. They're abused by their bosses.

Obama and Biden are truly a disgrace to the offices they occupy.

Their performances yesterday were absolutely shameful.
