Obama: Republican Plan Dirtier Air, Water, Less Health Insurance

Obama is working on getting reelected today rather than performing his duties as the nation's chief executive.

His rhetoric is absolutely disgraceful, accusing Republicans of wanting to dirty our air and water, keep people from receiving health care, all while giving tax breaks and benefits to the rich.

Real Clear Politics has the video of remarks Obama made during his "presidential visit" at Asheville Regional Airport in North Carolina.

Transcript

OBAMA: My plan says we're gonna put teachers back in the classroom, construction workers back to work rebuilding America, rebuilding our schools, tax cuts for small businesses, tax cuts for hiring veterans, tax cuts if you give your worker a raise. That's my plan.

And then, you got their plan which is: Let's have dirtier air, dirtier water, less people with health insurance. All right, so, so far at least, I feel better about my plan.

Here's a video snippet of the Republicans' alleged plan, according to Obama:

This stuff is really sick.

It's sick.

Obama post-partisan?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, right.

Obama promised to change Washington.

He did. He made things worse.

NOT Obama 2012.

Here's more video from Obama's alleged non-campaign appearance in North Carolina.

At the taxpayer funded stop, allegedly promoting his American Jobs Act (aka Stimulus II), at Asheville Regional Airport in North Carolina, Obama showed just how unpresidential and childish he can be.

He mocked the Republicans for not being on board with his jobs (aka tax hikes) bill. Of course, he didn't include the Democrats against the bill in his attack.

Transcript
OBAMA: This week, I'm asking members of Congress to vote... What, what we're gonna do is we're gonna break up my jobs bill. Maybe they just couldn't understand the whole thing all at once. So, so we're gonna break it up into bite-size pieces.

Does that sound presidential to you?

At another taxpayer funded stop, at West Wilkes High School in Millers Creek, North Carolina, Obama brought up his same very unpresidential shtick.

Here's the White House transcript of his remarks:

OBAMA: And that's why -- that's why, even though they said no the first time, we’re going to give them another chance. (Applause.) I think maybe the first time, because we had it all in one bill, maybe they didn't study it all properly. (Laughter.) Maybe they didn't know what they were voting against. So we’re going to chop it up into some bite-sized pieces and give them another chance to look out for your jobs instead of looking out for their own jobs. (Applause.)

This is not how a president wishing to work with both parties for the good of the country behaves.

I object to Obama ridiculing the intelligence of Republican lawmakers on the taxpayers' dime.

The "bite-sized pieces" line is obviously one he's repeating over and over.

Obama claims he has tried so hard to be bipartisan.

Really?

Again, from the White House transcript:

OBAMA: I want to work with Republicans in any way possible to create jobs right now. (Applause.) And the fact is -- let me say this -- let me say this. I have bent over backwards. I have shown myself to be willing again and again to try to cooperate with Republicans. (Applause.) I’ve tried so hard to cooperate with Republicans, Democrats have been getting mad at me. (Laughter and applause.) But the reason I have is because my attitude is when we’re in a time that's difficult, we can't afford to play politics. When we’re in a time that's difficult, we should try to find common ground. (Applause.)

What a load!

Obama cooperate with Republicans?

He says, "we can't afford to play politics."

Then tell me why he's playing politics.
