Roseanne: Behead the Rich

I think Roseanne Barr, presidential candidate, recognizes her irrelevance.

She wants to matter so she says outrageous things, to be noticed.

Suggesting that "guilty bankers" be beheaded is a way to get attention.

It's also a way to reveal one's stupidity.

I know her presidential run is a joke. What she's saying is supposed to be funny.

Personally, I don't find the humor in it.

It's not clever. It's just lame.

Here's video, from Breitbart:

Transcript

ROSEANNE BARR: The part of my platform is, of course, that the guilty must be punished, and that we can no longer, you know, let our children see their guilty leaders getting away with murder, because it teaches children that, you know, they don't have to have any morals and as long as they have guns and are bullies that they'll win. And I don't think that's a good message.

I do say that I am for the return of the guillotine, and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.

...

I, first, would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million personal wealth, because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million dollars. And If they're unable to live on that amount, then they should go to the re-education camps; and if that doesn't help, then be beheaded.

Barr sounds like she longs for the USSR.

She believes no one should be allowed to exceed $100 million in personal wealth.

I guess she thinks Tyler Perry should be beheaded if doesn't hand over his wealth.

Tyler Perry is the highest paid man in entertainment according to yet another list in the endless parade of Forbes lists. He earned $130 million between May of 2010 and May of 2011, ranking him ahead of Jerry Bruckheimer, Steven Spielberg and Simon Cowell.

Send Perry to a re-education camp if he doesn't pay back his earnings over $100 million.

Vote for Roseanne.

She's not funny.
