While crowds are out shopping, looking for bargains, on this Friday after Thanksgiving, the anti-Scott Walker crowd will be out trying to gather signatures to recall the governor.
From the Republican Party of Wisconsin:
Republican Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Ben Sparks issued the following statement regarding the numerous petition drives being held at private businesses and shopping outlets on Black Friday :
"Wisconsin Democrats continue to show their complete and utter lack of shame as they take their baseless recall effort to the doorstep of private businesses, harassing their customers to engage in what is nothing more than a selfish power play to suit the ends of liberal special interests.
"I doubt these businesses wish their stores to be associated with what is purely a partisan ploy, and these selfish acts on the part of the liberal activists will no doubt adversely affect these businesses. We encourage Democrats to have the decency of at least obtaining the permission of these establishments before demeaning their place of business to the level of a liberal petition booth.
"We encourage shoppers who witness any misconduct from petition gatherers on Black Friday to please contact the Recall Integrity Center at www.recallintegritycenter.com. Should petition gatherers not leave the premises upon request, we encourage businesses to contact their local law enforcement."

Will the recall workers ask permission to engage in this political activity at these places of business?
Who knows?
I wouldn't want the recallers doing their politicking at my business. Any business that does permit the Left-wing activists to set up shop is aligning with the Walker haters. That's not smart. It's sure to disturb some customers.
I really don't see how Target could give the OK to the recallers. Target doesn't allow the Salvation Army on the premises to collect for the needy. It would be very weird for Target stores to allow political partisans to collect signatures, distracting their customers by trying to get them to sign recall petitions.
In any event, I doubt that people interested in getting Black Friday deals, serious shoppers, will want to waste their time signing petitions. Time is at a premium on this busy shopping day.
