Scott Walker: Recall the Recall

Governor Scott Walker's opponents, including some Wisconsinites as well as powerful outside interests, want to overturn the results of the November 2, 2010 election.

They want to undo the progress we've experienced under Walker's leadership. They want to derail the reforms.

Starting on November 15th, the push to gather signatures to oust Walker officially begins, although the effort has been in the making by the organized Left since Wisconsin voters entrusted Walker and the Republicans with our state government.

The Walker haters are loud, but the Walker supporters aren't silent.

Tomorrow there will be a "Recall the Recall" event.

Dane County Young Republicans Announce “Recall the Recall” Event to Take Place Nov. 15

Joint Finance Committee Co-chair Rep. Robin Vos and Radio Host Vicki McKenna to Headline Rally at The Edgewater Hotel

(Madison, WI) -The Dane County Young Republicans, the area’s premier group for conservative young professionals, today [November 7] announced plans to hold a “Recall the Recall” event in support of Gov. Scott Walker on the eve of the proposed recall by liberal special interests. Speakers Vicki McKenna and Rep. Robin Vos will appear to denounce the Democrats’ historic overreach and recount how Governor Walker’s reforms are working to relieve the burden on working families throughout Wisconsin. The Rally will take place November 15ththe Edgewater Hotel in downtown Madison.

“While paid out-of-town capitol protesters and violent “Occupy” crowds have been rioting and disrupting state and local governments throughout the country, we wanted to focus on the positive gains Wisconsin has made because of Governor Walker’s leadership – a balanced budget, thousands of private sector jobs created, and NO tax increases,” said David Summers, DCYR spokesperson.

“The only thing Democrats seek with the recall process is the furthering of their extreme liberal agenda, which the voters thankfully threw to the curb in the elections of 2010,” added Charla Halverson, President of the Dane County Young Republicans. “Governor Walker’s policies have led to nearly 30,000 private sector jobs created and a drastically better climate for employers to hire and expand.

Instead of joining with Governor Walker to push forward more necessary reforms, Obama and the national Democratic party are only willing to ignore the voice of the people and instead are pushing for a costly and divisive recall. Wisconsinites have repeatedly shown their distaste for hijacking of their rights at the ballot box by Big Labor and other Washington, DC-based special interests, and we’re confident that opposition will continue. ”

The rally is co-sponsored by the Dane County Young Republicans and UW College Republicans. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend this event celebrating Governor Walker’s first year in office. Doors open at 5:30PM. More information can be found at www.danecountyyr.com.

The Leftist organization, One Wisconsin Now, has launched "Occupy Walker."

Scott Walker and Wall Street share a common agenda: destroy the middle class while protecting the interests of big corporations and the rich.

But we're fighting back.

On Monday November 14, One Wisconsin Now will launch #OccupyWalker -- an online movement to publicize the disastrous policies of the pro-corporate, anti-middle class Scott Walker administration.

#OccupyWalker will flood social networks with the truth about every aspect of Scott Walker's disastrous agenda, with the scores of facts uncovered by the One Wisconsin Now reseach team and the individual stories of working Wisconsin families personally harmed by Walker's anti-middle class schemes.

It's been over two years since Scott Walker stepped into the spotlight and started laying out his Koch-funded, pro-corporate agenda.

Really?

I don't think it's a good idea for the anti-Walker proponents to associate with a movement that has devolved into chaos, lawlessness, anarchy, disease, rape, murder, and utter social disorder.

That logo, depicting the state of Wisconsin as a fist, sends a message, and it's not good.

I don't think it appeals to the good people of Wisconsin.

We want responsible government, responsible spending, no tax increases, and jobs.

Share the responsibility. Spread the responsibility around.

What a concept!

A note about the Wisconsin fist logo--

The Door County peninsula reminds me of Larry McCarren's pinky.
