Scott Walker's 'Neighbor': Karen Smith (Video)

Karen Smith lives in Scott Walker's neighborhood in Wauwatosa.

Although she's technically a neighbor of the Walker family, Smith certainly doesn't behave very neighborly.

From FOX6 News:

Hundreds rallied on the streets of Wauwatosa Tuesday night, as protesters set up camp outside the home of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, the same day the effort to recall the governor officially kicked off, with volunteers beginning to collect the 540,000 signatures that would trigger a recall election.

A crowd gathered at Juneau High School and accompanied by brass and drums, they marched toward Walker's home. Wauwatosa police and the State Patrol kept the crowds and traffic moving, as the demonstrators descended onto North 68th Street. During the march, people signed petitions to recall both Governor Scott Walker, and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. One neighbor lent out her yard as a place to gather these signatures, even though she wasn't completely comfortable with her neighborhood hosting the rally.

"It's his home, and I'm not sure that's the best place to do it, but with that said, I also understand what they're trying to accomplish," Karen Smith said.

What the hell is Smith talking about?

She's speaking sympathetically, questioning the appropriateness of descending on the Walker family home; but Karen Smith willingly allowed her yard to be used to collect signatures to recall Governor Walker.

Supposedly, Smith "wasn't completely comfortable with her neighborhood hosting the rally."

OK. Then why did she permit her home to be a gathering site for the "occupiers" of Occupy Walker's Street?

I would have more respect for Smith if she simply stated that she supported the rally staged at Walker's home and didn't mind offering her yard for the protesters' use.

This "I'm not completely comfortable" drivel from Karen Smith is disgusting.

In effect, Smith put out the welcome mat. She fully cooperated with the "occupiers," inviting them to her front yard.

Smith shouldn't pretend she cares about the Walkers, her neighbors.

What a crock!

..."The turnout was so good, and the fact that his neighbors did this for us is a really good feeling," Andy Kapfenstein said.

The fact that the Walker family's neighbors did this is a disgrace.

They can support the recall without allowing the family home to be targeted.

The way the Walker family's neighbors behaved gave Andy Kapfenstein a "really good feeling."

If that gives Kapfenstein a "really good feeling," he must have a sadistic streak.

BRAD HICKS, FOX6 anchor: Hundreds of marchers descend on the Governor's home in Tosa, collecting recall signatures just steps away from his front door.

Those people are shameless.

How do I get signs for my yard supporting Scott Walker? I think collecting the signatures in his neighborhood was crossing the line. Pathetic. Walker for President! Unions have gone by the wayside in their 'cumulative necessity' in today's world.. Give me a break people. Think larger than just yourself.
