Ahead of the Grammys, I'm watching the Red Carpet coverage on E!
It's awful.
It's like a Whitney Houston memorial service.
Without question, the loss of Whitney Houston should be addressed during the awards show. She should be honored, no doubt about it.
But it seems nearly every celebrity being interviewed has to comment on her death. I think the Foo Fighters got away without the mandatory Whitney question.
This is really putting a terrible damper on the event.
I blame the hosts, Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, for taking the coverage in that direction. It's as if they're afraid to smile. "We must be subdued."
This is not good.
Whitney Houston's passing is heartbreaking. She was so talented and got so messed up.
All the talent and all the money in the world doesn't protect one from the consequences of making bad choices.
It's so terribly sad.
My prayers are with her family, especially her daughter.
