JAY LENO: I was gonna do some of those Rodney [Dangerfield] style gas jokes, you know, 'Gas is so high...' I was gonna do a bunch of those. I figure why not bring out someone who really knows the price of a gallon of gas. From one of the most exciting Daytona 500s in years, please welcome 2012 champion Matt Kenseth. Matt, come on out here.

Good to see you, pal. Congratulations.

MATT KENSETH: Thank you. I appreciate it.

LENO: Congratulations. Two-time winner. You won in 2009. A very, very exciting race.

KENSETH: It was exciting. Thank you. I appreciate it.

LENO: Now, how high are gas prices?

KENSETH: Gas prices are rising faster than the split in Angelina Jolie's dress.

LENO: Hey! How high are gas prices?

KENSETH: Gas prices are so high Kim Kardashian dumped an NFL player for a Chevron dealer.

LENO: Yes! But how high are the gas prices?

KENSETH: Gas prices are so high on road trips when kids act up in the back seat, dads can't afford to turn the car around and go back home anymore.

LENO: How high are they?

KENSETH: Well, gas prices are so high Mitt Romney's wife can only afford to drive one Cadillac.

LENO: Wow! How high are the prices?

KENSETH: Well, after Tim Tebow filled up his gas tank, he dropped to both knees.

LENO: Both knees! Both knees he went down! What happened when you asked the guy for five bucks worth of gas?

KENSETH: I asked the guy for five bucks worth of gas. The guy hands me a frozen burrito.

LENO: Yes! Ladies and gentlemen, Matt Kenseth. Matt, thank you, buddy. Good job. Congratulations, my friend. Thank you.
