PPP Poll: Walker 50%, Barrett 47%

No surprise that a Leftist polling firm would show the race between Scott Walker and Tom Barrett is tightening.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Republican Gov. Scott Walker leads Democrat Tom Barrett 50% to 47% in a new statewide survey by Public Policy Polling on the eve of Tuesday’s recall election.

In PPP’s previous poll, taken May 11-13, Walker led 50% to 45%.

Public Policy Polling is a Democratic firm that polls regularly in Wisconsin. Its last two polls were done for the liberal web site, Daily Kos, though this one was not done for any client, the firm said.

The automated poll of 1,226 likely voters was taken Saturday and Sunday.

In the poll, 51% of likely voters approved of Walker, 47% did not.

Walker led among men, whites, and seniors. Barrett led among women and young voters.

Walker led among Republicans 90% to 7%. Barrett led among Democrats 88% to 11%, and the two were running close to even among independents, with Barrett at 48% and Walker at 46%.

Even in the Lefty poll, Walker's approval rating is over 50%.

The closer we get to election day, the more ticked off I am. None of this should be happening.

Gov. Walker didn't do anything that warranted a recall.

Governors shouldn't be recalled for enacting successful reforms.

He angered some bloated union thugs used to scamming the government for years.

Yes. That explains why unions have sent their minions from across the country and their millions of dollars to Wisconsin since February of 2011.

I look forward to their departure.
