Walker 'Thank You' Email

Here's an email to supporters from Governor Scott Walker:

We made it. You stood with me and our vision of moving Wisconsin forward. We sent a message to those that have stood in the way of progress and reforms that our state cannot be bullied and that the voice of reason will always prevail.

I want to thank you personally for being such an important part of our campaign. Without your undying support we would not have been able to make it through this baseless recall election.

We must now band together and continue to move the Badger State towards a prosperous future for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.

I promise you now, as I promised you in 2010, I will never stop fighting to make sure that Wisconsin is a better place for future generations.

Now that the election is over and the people have spoken, the real work begins, I am going to continue pushing for reforms that are built on strong fiscal policy and I will not rest until we have brought as many jobs as possible within our borders and match everyone looking for work with a job that they can be proud of.

Tonette, Matt, Alex and I thank you for all that you have done on our behalf this past year. With your continued support not only will we keep moving Wisconsin forward, but we will make sure that we never take a step back.

You are the reason we won last night, I will never forget that and I will continue to make you proud of the decisions we make that put us on the road to a prosperous future.

Sincerely,

Scott Walker
Governor

Governor Walker is a class act.

I am so glad the recall is over and thrilled with the results.

For Tom Barrett, the unions, and the crazed Leftists, it was a colossal failure of epic proportions.

Total disaster. They suffered a humiliating defeat.

They're actions served to strengthen Governor Walker and solidify his supporters.

Thank you, Leftists/Democrats/union thugs/loony protesters.

He is a brave man who faced down and illegtimate and very destructive special interest. And won.

The workers and taxpayers of Wisconsin can breathe easier. And workers who want to be free from the thuggery of forced unionization (and theft of money) in other states are very emboldened.

In the old war between unions and workers, the balance is tipping in favor of the working class.

Wisconsin's working families and middle class have a much brighter future thanks to Gov. Walker.
