Joe Biden: Back in Chains

Joe Biden, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, is a disgrace. He's an absolute disgrace.

Biden on the campaign trail is truly an embarrassment.

Speaking in Danville, Virginia, Biden declared that Mitt Romney will "put y'all back in chains."

JOE BIDEN: Look at their budget and what they're proposing. Romney wants to let the... he said the first 100 days, he's gonna let the big banks once again write their own rules. Unchain Wall Street. They're gonna put y'all back in chains.

Someone in the Obama administration has to rein in Biden.

This sort of language is disgusting.

Biden's comments disgrace the office of the vice presidency. He should stop talking like a thug and start conducting himself in a dignified manner.

The liberal media are trying to help Obama, reporting Biden's "clarification." I don't know why that's necessary.

Stephanie Cutter, Obama's deputy campaign manager, is totally cool with Biden's "They're gonna put y'all back in chains."

“Is the bottom line that the president agrees with Joe Biden’s sentiments, but not his comments?” Andrea Mitchell asked Cutter in a sit-down interview.

“The bottom line is that we have no problem with those comments,” Cutter responded. “Those comments, and the full context of them.”

Good grief.

Mitt Romney is right. Obama's campaign is in the gutter.

I completely agree with Romney's statement, "This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like."

Isn't it funny that Paul Ryan is being criticized when the person clearly not fit to be vice president is the vice president?

To quote Mitt Romney, "Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago."

Hi, Mary!
Your assertions seem to reflect an unwavering confidence in your beliefs about Biden’s recent “chains” comments, as well as your beliefs about the current U.S. presidential campaign. As an open-minded seeker of truth, I’d like to understand the thought process behind these assertions; and I have a few questions for you (in all caps—not to shout, but to distinguish your assertions from my questions):
1. "Joe Biden, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, is a disgrace. He's an absolute disgrace." (1) WHAT DO YOU THINK BIDEN MEANT BY HIS “CHAINS” COMMENTS? (2) HAVE ANY OTHER SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR/S OF BIDEN LED YOU TO THE CONCLUSION THAT HE IS A ‘DISGRACE’?
2. “Biden on the campaign trail is truly an embarrassment.” TO WHOM? WHICH OF BIDEN’S BEHAVIOR/S ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL LED YOU TO THIS CONCLUSION?
3. "This sort of language is disgusting." WHAT ‘SORT OF LANGUAGE’ DO YOU FIND ‘DISGUSTING’ AND WHY?
4. "Biden's comments disgrace the office of the vice presidency.” SEE #1.
5. "He should stop talking like a thug and start conducting himself in a dignified manner.” (1) HOW DO YOU DEFINE ‘THUG’? (2) HOW DOES A THUG TALK? (3) HOW DO YOU DEFINE ‘DIGNIFIED MANNER’? (4) WHAT DO YOU THINK BIDEN WOULD NEED TO DO DIFFERENTLY IN ORDER TO ‘CONDUCT HIMSELF IN A DIGNIFIED MANNER’?
6. “The liberal media are trying to help Obama, reporting Biden's "clarification." I don't know why that's necessary.” (1) WHAT DO YOU THINK HAS MOTIVATED THE “LIBERAL MEDIA” TO REPORT BIDEN’S “CLARIFICATION”? (2) HAVE YOU OBSERVED ANY SOURCES BESIDES “THE LIBERAL MEDIA” REPORTING BIDEN’S “CLARIFICATION”? (3) FROM YOUR OBSERVATIONS, DO YOU THINK ANY MEDIA SOURCE IS TRYING TO “HELP” ROMNEY? IF SO, DO YOU THINK THAT’S “NECESSARY”? WHY OR WHY NOT?
7. "Mitt Romney is right. Obama's campaign is in the gutter." WHAT SPECIFICALLY HAVE YOU OBSERVED THAT HAS LED YOU TO THE CONCLUSION THAT “Obama's campaign is in the gutter”?
8. "I completely agree with Romney's statement, "This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like." " (1) HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE WHAT AN “ANGRY AND DESPERATE PRESIDENCY” LOOKS LIKE? (2) DO YOU DISTINGUISH A “PRESIDENCY” FROM A “PRESIDENT”? (3) DO YOU SEE ANY FAULT IN EITHER A PRESIDENCY OR A PRESIDENT BEING “ANGRY AND DESPARATE”?
9. "Isn't it funny that Paul Ryan is being criticized..." DO YOU FIND THIS FUNNY? IF SO, WHY?
10. "To quote Mitt Romney, "Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago." " THANK YOU FOR RECYCLING, MARY! DO YOU HAVE ANY ORIGINAL THOUGHTS TO SHARE ABOUT THIS ISSUE, BASED ON YOUR OWN OBSERVATIONS AND/OR RESEARCH?
