Aaron Rodgers Postgame Press Conference (Video)

Here's video:

Yes, it was awful. Aaron Rodgers is clearly angry. He should be.

The replacement refs gave the Seahawks a win they didn't deserve. They gave the Packers a loss we didn't deserve.

Read Vic Ketcham's take.

Must be an weird situation for you. Being so anti-union, but wanting the regular refs back.

Good freaking grief!

We've been through this before. I never said I was anti-union.

I just don't like being taxed to death to pay for others' unreasonable benefits - big difference.

What's weird is YOU deciding to take this moment, a situation that should unite people in the state, and exploit it to take a political swipe.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Give it a rest.

It's a LABOR dispute. That's the crux of this whole thing. And do you think that if the refs have their demands met the owners will be paying for it? Forget about it. They won't take a cut in pay. They'll just up ad rates a few bajillion dollars and the advertisers will pass along the cost to you in higher product prices. It's not to different from taxes after all.

"It's not to different from taxes after all."

I'm tired. I really have no patience today.

That said, IT'S COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM TAXES.

No one is going to jail for not purchasing what the NFL is selling. No one from the NFL is confiscating the money I've earned to spread it around. The NFL doesn't have that power.

Jim, agree with you that it a labor dispute. One of the things the refs want is a defined benefit pension. I wonder if that is one of the sticking points in negotiations. It would be bad for the nfl in the long term (no other employee of the nfl has such a benefit but sure would push for it if the refs got it). It isn't sustainable. Having said that, giving a relatively small number of people who make a large contribution to the nfl enterprise a big raise seems like a no brainier to me.
