Graeme Zielinski, official spokesman for the Democrat Party of Wisconsin, has bizarre criteria for measuring whether or not we're better off than four years ago.
Osama is dead. G.M. is alive. Hell, yes, we are better off.
— Graeme Zielinski (@gjzielinski) September 7, 2012
Osama bin Laden is dead and GM is alive.
According to Zielinski, that deserves a "Hell, yes, we are better off."
That's ridiculously narrow.
To the millions and millions and millions of us dealing with unemployment or underemployment, and our homes being worth dramatically less, and our personal wealth eroding, dead bin Laden doesn't come to mind at all when considering the question of being better off.
Am I personally better off, taking bin Laden and GM into account?
Hell, no, I'm not better off.
