Obama: Israel, Iran, and 'Noise'

Obama is a horrible president in terms of foreign policy.

His failure to take the Iran nuclear threat seriously is reason enough to boot him out of office.

In an interview with Steve Kroft that aired on 60 Minutes yesterday, Obama had the audacity to dismiss Israel's concerns about Iran as "noise" that he's blocking out.

Here's video:

From Ynetnews:

US President Barack Obama described the Israeli pressure to draw a "red line" for Iran as "noise" he is trying to block out.

In an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" that aired Sunday, the president addressed the crisis between Washington and Jerusalem over the handling of the Iranian nuclear issue. Obama stressed he feels "an obligation, not pressure" to coordinate with Israel.

...Obama said he "understands and shares" the Israeli prime minister's "insistence" thatIran should not obtain a nuclear weapon as this "would threaten us, it would threaten Israel and it would threaten the world and kick off a nuclear arms race."

However, in a jab to Netanyahu, he remarked that when it comes to US national security "any pressure that I feel is simply to do what's right for the American people. And I am going to block out any noise that's out there."
The media, if they weren't in the tank for Obama and were responsible professionals, should be all over this.

"Noise"?

"NOISE"???

We're talking about Iran becoming a nuclear power!

Andrea Saul, Mitt Romney's press secretary, issued a statement responding to Obama's shocking remarks:

“Tonight on 60 Minutes, President Obama called Israel’s legitimate concern about the impact of an Iran armed with nuclear weapons ‘noise’ and referred to Israel as merely ‘one of our closest allies in the region.’ This is just the latest evidence of his chronic disregard for the security of our closest ally in the Middle East. Governor Romney's views stand in sharp contrast to the President's. Governor Romney strongly believes that Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East and that support for Israel is essential to extending freedom, peace and democracy throughout the region. As president, Governor Romney will restore and protect the close alliance between our nation and the state of Israel.”
Obama is incompetent on the world stage. He puts U.S. interests at risk.

He's a national security disaster, but predictably, the liberal media are trying to spin Obama's terrible comments to make Mitt Romney look bad, using the P-word again.

"Pounce" - that is the word the liberal media have used again and again during this campaign.

Romney "pounces" whenever he criticizes Obama.

When Obama and his media allies pummel Romney, it's not referred to as "pouncing."

Of course, Romney should respond to Obama's irresponsible remarks. That's not "pouncing." It's an exchange of ideas on issues critical to the future of our country and the world.

Romney's criticism of Obama is completely justified.

Obama is blind when it comes to our national security, and he lies about his failings.

Terrorists killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, in Benghazi on 9/11/12.

Obama engaged in a cover-up.

What's Obama going to do when Iran gets nukes?

Is he going to blame a goofy video that insulted Iranians?
