Jimmy Fallon: Presidential Debate Joke

JIMMY FALLON: NASA is warning that solar radiation could cause TV outages over the next week, or as Mitt Romney put it [crossing his fingers], 'Please happen during the debate. Please happen during the debate. Pleeeeease.'

Naturally, Fallon did other jokes dissing Romney in his monologue and comedy bits, like he always does.

Of course, the show was taped before Obama crashed and burned in the first presidential debate.

Given the context of Obama's disastrous performance earlier in the evening, also known as REALITY, Fallon's joke is completely off the mark.

Instead of Romney being the target, the joke should have been about Obama wishing for TV outages.

Fallon's assumption that Obama would shine in the debate and Romney would stumble proved to be an embarrassment.
