Oscar Host Seth MacFarlane

Seth MacFarlane could be a great host, if producers give him the freedom to criticize the pampered celebrities, like he does on his several animated series.

He has a great voice. I'm sure he'll sing, like he frequently does on his several animated series.

However, if he's kept on a tight leash, the Oscars will be predictable and boring and annoying - again.

MacFarlane and those responsible for staging the program need to remember their audience is not Hollywood. They need to play to us, the little people, the great unwashed, the 99 percent.

Burst the Hollywood elite bubble. Mock them, good-naturedly, of course. That would be entertaining.
