Ted Turner, Military Suicides (Video)

Ted Turner is a miserable human being.

Speaking to CNN's Piers Morgan, Turner commented about the increase in the number of military suicides compared to combat deaths.

Turner sees the suicides as a good thing. He finds it a hopeful sign that the troops are killing themselves.

Transcript:

TED TURNER: I think the global policeman should be the United Nations. And I don't think we should need one. I think we should use courts the way we do in civilian life. It's time to put war and conflict behind us and move on, and start acting like civilized, educated human beings.

PIERS MORGAN: You made the point to me in the break there, more American servicemen have --

TURNER: -- are dying now from suicide over there than are dying in combat.

MORGAN: That's shocking, isn't it?

TURNER: Well, what -- no, I think it's -- I think it's good, because it's so clear that we're programmed and we're born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, to destroy each other. That's an aberration. That's left over from hundreds of years ago. It's time for to us start acting enlightened.
This is absolutely sick.

Turner is mocking the tragedy of military deaths by suicide. He's actually stating that troops killing themselves is a positive advancement.

Turner shows no compassion whatsoever for the families forced to cope with the loss of their loved ones. He shows no gratitude to the members of our military serving to protect his sorry, billionaire ass.

Turner makes me sick.

And where is the outcry from his fellow Leftists, the ones claiming to support the troops?

Nothing but crickets, as usual.

Too bad he doesn't realize the reason they're killing themselves is because they're crapped on by the government.

He is half right though. We don't need to be the worlds policeman. Screw them, let them take care of themselves and we'll take care of us. When need arises we'll stand up and smack whoever need be across the skull with our old hickory stick.
