Senator Marco Rubio of Florida has a message for Wisconsinites:
The American Dream is real and it is alive, but it is being threatened by the failed policies of President Obama and Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin.
Instead of moving our country forward, their policies are moving us backwards. Their big-government approach to governing is preventing Americans from achieving the American Dream. Through excessive regulations, taxation and out-of-control spending, their failed policies have made it impossible for hard-working Americans to get ahead.
Instead of offering the hope and change that was once promised, they are dividing the nation and creating a dependent America. That is why it is imperative that Wisconsin voters elect a builder and proven reformer like former Governor Tommy Thompson to the United States Senate on November 6.
As Governor, Tommy worked with the private sector to create 742,000 jobs, rebuilding Wisconsin into an economic powerhouse. Tommy’s bold and innovative reforms for school choice and welfare were adopted nationally, transforming our school systems and giving hard-working Americans a hand up instead of a handout. It is those ideas and pro-growth policies that are desperately needed to keep the American Dream alive and well.
We are a country that has been defined by the American Dream, and we cannot let it slip away. I urge you to encourage your friends, family members and neighbors to get to the polls on November 6 and vote Tommy Thompson for the United States Senate.
