Gosnell's Murder Trial

The mainstream media don't report news anymore.

The trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell is news.

The atrocities that took place at Women's Medical Society, Gosnell's abortion clinic in West Philadelphia, should be receiving attention. The trial should be closely followed by network news outlets, but that's not happening.

Of course, highlighting Gosnell's house of horrors would demand that an abortionist be presented as a murder.

Anything equating suffering and death to abortion is off limits by the Leftist media. It's unacceptable to discuss dead babies as a women's health procedure. That whole infanticide thing makes abortion seem like a bad choice, and that's bad news for the Left.

From CNSNews: Things the Networks Thought Were More Important than Gosnell's Murder Trial

From MRC: CBS Devotes 13 Seconds to Gosnell Trial Development; ABC, NBC Punt

For the first time in over a week, CBS covered the murder trial of abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell on Wednesday's CBS This Morning. But instead of a full report, as on April 15, Norah O'Donnell read a news brief that lasted just 13 seconds on the trial judge dismissing three of the murder charges against the Philadelphia physician.

ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today on Wednesday failed to cover this noteworthy development in the case. Neither broadcast network has aired one second of reporting on the Gosnell trial on their morning and evening newscasts.

...On Monday, the MRC's Matt Philbin documented that in the month-plus since the Gosnell trial began, the Big Three networks' newscasts have covered celebrity news items such as actor Dick Van Dyke's bizarre head throb and West Wing star Alan Alda teaching acting to scientists, while all but ignoring the proceedings against the accused murderer.
It's stunning that the murder trial of Gosnell is ignored, but People's declaration of Gwyneth Paltrow as the world's most beautiful woman makes the "news."

What has happened to our values?

Our culture is disintegrating.
